The Good That Follows Foundation provides directly donated equipment and gear to participating veterans, with a focus on disabled veterans. We believe cost should never prevent a veteran from engaging in sports, recreation, and peer fellowship.
Objective Selection Criteria: All equipment distribution decisions and assistance requests are processed under objective, board-approved eligibility standards to serve an open charitable class of veterans.
No Cost to Veterans: All gear provided through this intake form is distributed at zero cost to the veteran.
Tracking & Confirmation: Each request is assigned a unique tracking ID and processed in the order received, subject to available donor inventory.
Golfing Gear: Complete & partial club sets, drivers, irons, putters, stand/cart bags, golf balls, and accessories.
Fishing & Outdoor Gear: Fishing rods, reels, tackle kits, hooks/pliers, and camping/outdoor equipment.
Sports & Gaming: Pickleball paddles & balls, bowling gear, lawn/cornhole games, tabletop card/board games, and recreational supplies.
General Assistance & Home Goods: Donated household essentials, bedding, home goods, and supportive living items to help veterans create stable, comfortable environments.
Dual-Review Standard: Applications are reviewed by two disinterested reviewers to prevent conflicts of interest or improper private benefit.
Objective Criteria: Evaluation is based strictly on available inventory, demonstrated service context, activity feasibility, and geographic alignment (with initial priority given to the Austin, TX regional area for physical shipments).
No Guarantees or Conditions: Submitting an intake form does not guarantee immediate fulfillment. Assistance is never conditioned on publicity, political support, or personal favors.
Delivery or redemption dates are recorded for internal inventory tracking.
Fulfillments are logged without retaining unnecessary sensitive veteran details.
Standard Gear: Golf, tennis/pickleball, fishing, billiards/bowling, tabletop gaming, and essential home goods are fulfilled directly from open inventory.
Specialty Grants (Timepieces & Challenge Coins): High-demand, limited-inventory items (such as tactical dive watches and commemorative coins) operate under a separate Special Grants Review Workflow. Veterans submit a context-specific inquiry evaluated by the review committee as manufacturer inventory becomes available.
Note: Submitting a request does not guarantee immediate fulfillment, as inventory depends on donated gear availability and fulfillment logistics. The Good That Follows Foundation operates exclusively for charitable 501(c)(3) purposes and does not operate as a private recreational club
